POPULATION
On planet Earth, the Cheetah is considered Vulnerable. Their population is threatened by the Illegal wildlife trade where they are traded as exotic pets and also poached for their skin. With their habitat decreasing due to the human population, conflicts arise with farmers when the lack of prey causes a cheetah to attack livestock resulting in retaliation by the farmers. This is a common issue with other big cats.
